A graduate of St. Louis University with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and earning recognition as a Certified Manufacturing Engineer after graduation, Lynn worked in the aerospace and automotive industries prior to joining IBM where he retired after working in sales, technical support, and management.

Lynn is a member of the Crittenden County Lions Club, Crittenden County Chamber of Commerce, and a church lector.  He has been a volunteer tutor at Crittenden County High School, a tax preparation volunteer for Pennyrile Allied Community Services, and Church Council President.

In the past, Lynn has taught at community college; officiated high school sports including football, wrestling, and softball; has been a foster parent for newborns; and has been a little league boys and girls coach.

Lynn has been married 46 years to his wife Kathleen and together they have 4 children and 12 grandchildren.

Lynn is a member of the National and Kentucky Right to Life and fights to defend the rights of the unborn in the Commonwealth. Lynn is also a member of the NRA and Gun Owners of America and has worked diligently to protect the second amendment rights of Kentuckians.

He is Vice-Chair of the House Agriculture & Small Business Committee and also serves on the Economic Development and Labor & Industry Committees.
